Hello, I’m Gem, founder and groomer at House of Dapper Dogs, a luxury dog grooming salon located in the heart of the countryside in Durley.

I’ve always loved animals, and today I share my life with my four dogs — Elsie, Eddie, Doug and Darcy — and my son Louie. I began my professional dog grooming journey in 2018, gaining experience in a local salon before opening House of Dapper Dogs in September 2019.

I specialise in one-on-one luxury dog grooming, offering beautifully finished pet trims and relaxing spa treatments in a private, secure setting with ample easy parking. Every appointment is bespoke and personalised, ensuring each dog feels safe, comfortable and cared for.

I’m bubbly, happy and easy to talk to, and I pride myself on building trust with both dogs and their owners — usually with a coffee and a bar of chocolate close by.
